I was given the opportunity to review a Sun Protection Zone Hooded Jacket. It's a lightweight jacket, made from recycled COFFEE BEANS grounds. Yes, you read that correctly. Coffee beans.

Greenbeanz jackets are beneficial for more than just your everyday wear; they are great for golfing, hiking, lounging in the sun, outdoor work, biking, overall sun protection and even urban exploration.
I have extremely pale skin, and I burn easily. Being 50 % Italian, I expected a little more out of my tanning abilities, unfortunately, I did not inherit that blessing. I knew I needed to try this jacket out, but I had to go with a men's size, just because of the arm length (keep in mind, I'm 6'3"! It doesn't *look* like a men's jacket!) It's a silver and white design, with the Greenbeanz Logo on left upper side. They have a variety of color options when it comes to the hooded jackets, but if you visit the website you'll see they have a decent clothing line of other products available for sun protection, not just jackets.

The recycled coffee bean grounds are transformed by a patented process called S. Cafe' fabric, which turns the recycled coffee grounds into a special, eco-friendly fabric. It's the perfect compliment to anyone who prides themselves on their eco-lifestyle, to be able to WEAR all natural clothing.  The SPZ apparel line offers maximum UV protection.

All of the perks make it a great investment. I love the feel of this jacket, it's lightweight and almost "slinky" feeling. It's easy to clean, machine wash cold. No bleach, no fabric softeners; tumble dry low, remove promptly. Do not iron or dry clean. Instead of using your washer or dryer, you can hand wash and line dry out of the direct sun. Because of the material, it dries super fast.

I'm really happy that I have something that I don't have to reapply all the time when we go camping, or I go for a walk. The wrist is elastic, but not too tight. The hood is a little on the big side (not terribly) and that's just the way I like them! It's not taught to my face and a bit loose, perfect. I'd actually love to get some of the hats for the girls.
