Reviva Labs Makeup Primer, Seaweed Soap and Under-Eye Dark Circle Serum Reviews

Reviva Labs sent us 3 different products to review. I had spent a long time on this review, because I really wanted to get to know the products and how well they work/don't work.

Reviva Labs is a Natural skincare company, with a long line of all natural products and plant based products. The seaweed soap is one of the latter.

Let's start with my favorite, the Makeup Primer.

This is hands-down, the best primer I have ever used on my skin. I wouldn't say I've tried a LOT of primers, but I've gone through about 3 different brands and I've never been as satisfied with a primer like I am with this one.

I use it daily under my makeup. It fills in large pores, covers up uneven spots and pre-wrinkles (full-blown wrinkles as well!). It also works as a decent moisturizer. I never use both, although you can. It immediately turns skin silky looking once applied evenly.

The bottle I received is 1 Fl. Oz, and it has barely even moved down a bit in the bottle. All you need is a small dot size amount on your forehead, each cheek and above your jawline on each side. You can rub it over your entire face with just those little dots. I love how little I need for each application. It's not an expensive product, by any means, but I love when a good thing lasts!

When I use the Makeup Primer under my foundation, it lasts all day long. I never have to touch it up. It's also safe to use on eyes, and makes my eyeshadow look outstanding! Now that I've found this primer, I will never need to try a different one. This is it for me!

All natural ingredients. Paraben free. There are no animal ingredients, no animal testing and it was made in the USA.

The Under-eye Dark Circle Serum didn't work as well as I had hoped for. It did aid in the puffiness that I get under my eyes, which was a big help though.

I had originally gotten this for Mr. NTH. He gets dark circles under his eyes from sinus issues, and I thought this would help. I don't know that he was using it as often as needed. On the bottle itself, it says, "Reduces capillary leakage of hemoglobin, now found to be a major cause of dark circles."

The serum has the consistency of hand sanitizer, and it absorbs rather quickly. You only need a little bit and you pat it on under your eyes. You can apply it in the morning under makeup or alone, and before bedtime alone or under eye cream. Men can just apply it regularly if they don't use any moisturizers, etc.

All natural ingredients. Paraben free. Made in the USA.

I waited to write this review until the all natural, vegetable based Seaweed soap bar was all done. I wanted to be able to comment about a claim that was on the side of the box,
"In Spain, Seaweed soap is even used as part of one's slimming or anti-cellulite routine. It stimulates circulation and helps discharge toxins. It's a soap both men and women will love."
Well, that last part is true. We both did love this soap! There are little scrubbing bits inside the soap that help exfoliate the skin as well as help to stimulate circulation. I don't know how much of the cellulite problem was worked on, as I don't notice any differences in that respect, but I do love this soap and the way my skin feels afterwards.

It doesn't have a "soap" smell, either. It doesn't exactly smell like seaweed either! I just can't explain the smell of this soap, sorry. :(

All natural. No animal fats. Pure vegetable base of palm and coconut oils. Made in the USA.

A little bit more on the company:
Because Reviva has been a “quiet” company, most of you are probably not aware that Reviva was also the first in Health Food Stores with:
  1. A milder, non-drying program for acne
  2. Elastin
  3. Topical trace minerals
  4. Glycolic Acid (from dermatologist source)
  5. Hyaluronic Acid
  6. Vitamin P for spider veins and rosacea
  7. A new - ingredient-complex for under eye dark circles and others
I really liked all of these products for different reasons, but my favorite has definitely been the  Makeup Primer. It works SO WELL. It makes my skin and makeup appear flawless. What more can a gal ask for when it comes to makeup?
