100 % Pure Cosmetics Review

The NTH Review Group and I had the extreme pleasure of trying out 100% Pure Cosmetics body creams and body wash. Now, I know what you're thinking. "Gia, why not just make your own lotion?" Well, valued readers, I have to be honest. I don't want my next airplane trip to be stalled at the gate by me holding up the line because my bag of miscellaneous fruits and sugars are questionable. I'd rather just travel with ready-made products. :) Besides, sometimes it's just nice to have others do the work for you!

100% Cosmetics are made with pigments from fruits and vegetables along with nature's best resources. There's a wide range product line including makeup, bath & body, hands, hair, kids, etc. All of these products contain:

I was sent a full size Mangosteen Nourishing Body Cream and Mangosteen Hydrating Body Wash. These two items smell delicious, almost edible! (which can actually been said about every item I've tried so far from them)

The body wash was light and foamy (from the aerator tip on the bottle, not a foaming chemical agent) and had a long lasting scent. There are no harsh detergents to dry out my skin, no artificial fragrances or toxins. This body wash made me comfortable with tossing out my old, luxuriously toxic body washes.

The nourishing body cream was thick, creamy and left my skin feeling silky. Not greasy, not clammy or sticky. The highly nourishing body cream is loaded with antioxidants, vitamins and it contains cocoa and avocado butters for exceptional moisturizing capabilities. A little bit of this gem goes a long way.

We also received the following mini-sized sample sachets of nourishing body cream in:
Honey Almond
Vanilla Bean
Cabernet Grape
Coconut
and this list doesn't even put a dent in the scents they have available!

Honey Almond reminded me of a delicious Christmas cookie. The smell was more almond than honey, but I definitely didn't mind that. It was rich, and lingered on my skin for quite a while. (Ask around, I never mind smelling like cookies!)

Vanilla Bean brought a powerful Vanilla scent with it, I loved it! I feel it may be too strong for some, but if you love vanilla scents then this product won't disappoint you.

Cabernet Grape was Little NTH and Little Sister NTH's favorite body cream! They were both ecstatic, because this cream made them smell like little grape popsicles! I thought it smelled great, and it made the girls happy, but this probably isn't one I would wear myself.

Coconut smelled pretty coconut-ty, with a side of warm vanilla. Not sure how else to explain that one. I'm a huge fan of coconut and I didn't get an overwhelming sense of coconut from it, but perhaps that's a good thing? You be the judge.

I was truly happy with all of the products we had tried, and then I found this miracle tube in our package. It's called "Organic Coffee Bean Caffeine Eye Cream."

At first the smell was a little off-putting, not sure why, I'm a coffee addict after all. Perhaps because I got some coffee and some chocolate smells coming from it. Maybe it was because I just made my eyes smell like breakfast? Who knows.. I quickly got over the scent after I realized the skin around my eyes had literally brightened and tightened! Its anti-inflammatory, caffeine rich green tea and coffee de-puffs while increasing circulation to brighten dark circles. Concentrated with potent anti-aging vitamins, antioxidants, and nourishing rosehip oil to make eye area look more awake and more youthful. I've been using it for over a week, and the smell is comforting now. I wouldn't say it bothered me long at all, actually.

Are you ready to pack away your B&BW products yet? You should be..

This post will be updated as I get more feedback in from the NTH review group. Overall, everyone has been completely satisfied and even a little bit impressed. You can pamper your skin just as you always have, without toxins and harsh detergents and artificial dyes!
